PLEASE TELL US WHAT YOU WANT US TO BE DOING:
The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau® has done strategic planning in the past and based the programs we sponsor on that. However, those programs are what we feel are important. We want to know what you feel is important.

Below are the eight program areas that the IFB & the county Farm Bureaus® focuses on. I have also included the Young Farmers because we want to get more of our younger farmers involved with Farm Bureau® as well. Please tell us what type of programs that you feel would be beneficial or what we should be working within each of the areas listed below. We want to represent the needs & desires of our members, so we really need to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to fill this out and submit it to us. Thank you.

Agricultural Education - Purpose: To educate Pre-K through 12 students, as well as adults about agriculture.

Commodity & Marketing - Purpose: To provide programs, services & activities in the Commodity & Marketing area. Promote commodities to consumers and help farmers improve their net income.

Legislative - Purpose: To maintain good relationships with our state & national legislators; maintain keep members informed on what is going a relationship with our adopted (Chicago area) legislator, on politically that affects agriculture.

Local Affairs - Purpose: To work with local government to ensure they are responsive to the needs of our members.

Communications & Promotions - Purpose: To promote agriculture, farmers and Farm Bureau® in a positive light & foster good relations w/ our members, the general public, community leaders, etc.

Member Relations - Purpose: To maintain current members and acquire new members strength comes with numbers. Foster good relations between Farm Bureau® and our members.

Policy Development/Viewpoint - Purpose: To find multiple ways to hear about what is concerning our members and possibly develop policy to address those concerns.
